At Urban Services Unlimited, in collaboration with Fathers and Mothers Who Care (FMWC), we have
embarked on a transformative journey that we are immensely proud of. With the generous support from
donors like you, our recent grant has enabled us to acquire La Quinta and Hyatt Hotel in Katy, TX,
marking a significant milestone in our mission to provide stable, permanent housing for Veterans in
need.
Your Impact in Action:
Your donation has allowed us to convert several rooms within these hotels into efficiencies & onebedroom spaces. Through the help of FMWC and its dedicated team of Veterans, we have been able to support individuals like Anthony Hurd, a Veteran who found hope, stability, and a new beginning in our
housing program.
Anthony’s testimony speaks volumes about the impact of your contribution. He shared :
Our Commitment to Veterans:
FMWC, alongside Urban Services Unlimited, stands firmly with our Veterans, offering more than shelter.
We provide comprehensive support, including emergency and permanent housing, assistance with
benefits, vocational training, and crucial referrals to medical and mental health services. Your generosity
has empowered us to make a real difference in the lives of those who have served our country.
Creative Solutions, Lasting Impact:
Our partnership has enabled us to think creatively about how we house our Veterans. Converting hotels
into permanent residences is just one of the innovative ways we are ensuring that every Veteran has a
place to call home. Your support has facilitated this creative approach, transforming vacant spaces into
safe havens where Veterans can rebuild their lives.
Join Us in Making a Difference:
Disable Veterans National Foundations’ contribution to our program is not just a donation; it’s a lifeline
for Veterans striving for stability and a brighter future. With your continued support, we can expand our
reach, provide more housing solutions, and offer holistic support to those who have sacrificed so much
for our nation.
Thank you for being a part of our mission. Together, we are changing lives, one home at a time.
